GROUPS

MCMJC Groups are an essential part of our church because they offer a space for deeper fellowship and support for one another to take place. Considering that. Just as the early church worshipped together in large settings in synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly to be in deeper fellowship with God and, in a similar way, to grow closer to God and each other. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. We intentionally strive for community through men's, women's, children's, and youth groups, home gatherings, and other personal settings.

SMALL CHURCH, BIG COMMUNITY

We have been created to live in a community and not in isolation. Physically, we do live in a community, but spiritually, socially, and relationally, we often live our lives in isolation. We find ourselves with no one to turn to when we have a major issue that has just surfaced in our lives. Living in a community allows us to more wholly experience God through close relationships as we play and pray together, as we encourage and help one another, and as we study and live out God’s word together.

AND LET US CONSIDER HOW WE MAY SPUR ONE ANOTHER ON TOWARD LOVE AND GOOD DEEDS. LET US NOT GIVE UP MEETING TOGETHER, AS SOME ARE IN THE HABIT OF DOING, BUT LET US ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER - AND ALL THE MORE AS YOU SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.
